Formal presentation of technical or economic nature of general interest to a great audience.

Technical Sessions (Poster)
These sessions will provide an informal forum for direct contact between authors and delegates on technical topics of specific focus. They can be scientific topics or cutting-edge topics of great interest, but aimed at a distinct public.

Official language of the event: English

Format of the abstracts/final texts:
• Abstracts written in English (100 - 500 words)
• Final text written in English (maximum - 8 pages)
• Oral Session: PowerPoint written in English. However, the oral presentation may be in Portuguese. Simultaneous translation from Portuguese to English and vice versa will be available.

Registration to the event:
All of the authors who have their papers approved for inclusion in the final program of the Rio Pipeline Conference, will have to register ender the category ‘Authors’, in order to have access to the program and receive all the material related to the event.

Those who are interested in submitting technical papers should follow the schedule, the proposed subjects and the instructions available at the event website. Access.

Schedule to Submit Papers

• 15/12/2008 - Deadline to receive abstracts (100-500 words) (new date - January 20th, 2009)
• 15/02/2009 - Notification of appraisal of abstracts
• 15/04/2009 - Deadline to receive final papers (maximum - 8 pages)
• 28/05/2009 - Notification of acceptance/review of final papers
• 15/06/2009 - Deadline to receive reviewed papers
• 15/07/2009 - Notification of date, time and form of presentation of papers (oral/poster)
